We, at Kings Park, are very sensitive when it comes to fire safety and fire prevention. The residents of Building B that have lived here a long time can tell you how devastating a major fire is and how it robs you from a big chunk of your life. So please respect, adhere and enforce all fire prevention rules.
Fire detectors and fire alarm:
They should not be tempered with, compromised in any way and maintained in good working order.
In Buildings A and C, the fire alarm system is mostly OUTSIDE private units. The Association takes care of its maintenance and integrity.
In Building B however, the alarm system includes fire detectors and sprinklers INSIDE your unit. These may not be altered, removed, displaced, painted or obstructed under any circumstances. In case work or remodeling is done in areas where these detectors are installed, Advance Fire must be contacted and a duly architectural modification request must be submitted to the Board.
Smoking is prohibited in all hallways, stairwells and breezeway of the B Building.
