Plumbing Maintenance & Responsibilities
If you experience any plumbing issues — such as backflow, clogged pipes, or low water pressure — please contact a licensed plumber promptly to diagnose and resolve the problem. We also recommend notifying the property manager of the issue.
The plumber will determine whether the problem is within your unit (private) or related to common building elements. They will advise the property manager accordingly.
Residents may choose any licensed plumber. Please note that the Kings Park Condominium Association will only cover costs associated with repairs to common elements, as determined by the plumber.
To help prevent plumbing issues, residents are encouraged to use sinks and toilets responsibly:
- Only flush toilet paper and human waste.
- Avoid improper use of food waste disposers, as this can lead to clogged kitchen sinks.
- Maintain drains regularly by flushing with warm, soapy water or a mixture of vinegar and baking soda to ensure proper drainage.
